Last night we got the treat of a primetime game between the LA Lakers and the Milwaukee Bucks. LeBron was out but we still got an absolute show. Giannis and Austin Reaves each got a triple-double, Anthony Davis had 34 & 23, and D’Angelo Russell was also a flamethrower with 29 points and 12 assists.



It was a big road win for the Lakers, and with that, we take a look at the Western Conference play-in situation. The 4 teams in the play line right now (seeds 7-10) would be the Kings, Suns, Lakers, and Warriors, with the Rockets one game behind them amidst a CRAZY 9-game win streak.



For only 2 of those 5 teams to make the playoffs is wild. The Suns and Lakers both could find themselves in the Western Conference Finals and the Kings and Warriors can at least win a series. I like those 4 teams to be very competitive with any team in the West. With the exception of a first-round matchup against THE Denver Nuggets, we could have some fireworks come postseason time and we’re only in March!

In this part of the season, every win is huge. The difference between one seed and who you play in the first round could be the difference between a first-round exit or a run to the NBA Finals. There are legitimately 7 teams in the West I could see making the Finals.



The NBA is a long season, and a lot of people just tune in for the playoffs. Well, we’re almost there, and something tells me we’re in for a good postseason!
