A gritty NFC Battle in the snow followed by the two MVP candidates to end the Divisional Round! What a day!
Baltimore Ravens @ Buffalo Bills: Wow. What a game! This was the most anticipated game of the week, it had 1A and 1B in the MVP battle, duking it out in the snow, and it did not disappoint. Two of the best teams in the league, and one had to go home. The Ravens marched down the field in 4 minutes to start the game and put an early statement TD on the board. It looked like it couldâve been a long night for Buffalo if they didnât respond. RAY DAVIS got in the endzone to tie it up 7-7, and then it was body blows all night long!
Lamar had an interception and fumble in the first half, which only resulted in 3 points for Buffalo. After a pair of Josh Allen rushing TDs in the second quarter, the Bills took a 21-10 lead into the half. The tide shifted in the third quarter, the Ravens came out looking like the run-first Ravens that we all know. They were gashing the Bills for 10 yards a play. We all knew it would, and it came down to the last drive of the game. The Ravens were down 8 and had the ball with 3 minutes to go. Lamar did what he has done all year and brought them down the field and it ended with a strike to Isaiah Likely in the endzone! Down 2. They go to Andrews. WIDE OPENâŠDROPPED!
A crushing end for the Ravens who had a great season. Bills win, 27-25!
But weâre back to old reliable. Chiefs-Bills at Arrowhead for a shot at the Super Bowl!
Los Angeles Rams @ Philadelphia Eagles:
It was a good old-fashioned SNOW BOWL in Philly! The snow was falling, and for a lot of the game, it was tough to get anything going. The first quarter is where a lot of the action happened! We had a Jalen Hurts 40-yard TD which was the longest of his career, a Tyler Higbee TD in response, AND THEN a Saquon Barkley in response to that!
After a bunch of FGs and a safety, we found ourselves late in the Fourth quarter. Saquon Barkley ripped off a second BOMB of a TD, and the Rams were down 14. They had to TD, stop, and TD. Well, they went TD, stop, and everybody stopped and said wtf is happening right now. Stafford has always been Mr. Game Winning Drive, and it looked like we were going to get one more!
Nope. The Eagles D stepped up and forced a fourth down, and forced a turnover! The Eagles advance to the NFC Championship, 28-22, and will face a very familiar foe in Washington!
