What to know: World No. 1 Jannik Sinner just won his 3rd Grand Slam title! This one was once again in dominant fashion!
Assuming not many got up for Sinner vs Zverev at 3:30 AM (if you did you’re an absolute sicko and we love you for it!) But it was a showdown between the 2 top-ranked tennis players in the world! (1) Jannik Sinner and (2) Alexander Zverev faced off in what was to be a shootout!
If you know anything about Sinner, however, there have been NO shootouts with him! He wins. And he wins in dominant fashion. The unassuming Italian shows up with his basic t-shirt and cap on, and does absolute damage on the court!
This was no different! It was a 3-set CLINIC! 6-3, 7-6, 6-3! The second set got a little dicey with a tiebreaker, but after that, it was smooth sailing! Sinner wins his 2nd Australian Open and his 3rd Grand Slam title!
Sinner is at the top of the mountain in the tennis world!
