What to know: We had a monster slate last night with a lot of action on primetime TV! Letâs go over it all!
Celtics @ Mavs: Yesterday we had an NBA Finals rematch between the Celtics and the Mavs! The Mavs are still Luka-less, and it shows. The Celtics continue to be an absolute UNIT of a team and got the win, 122-107! All 5 Celtic starters scored at least 17 points, all thatâs usually all it takes for them to blow the breaks off another squad! The Celtics look poised for at least a trip to the ECF, meanwhile, the Mavs need their leader before making a true push!
Nuggets @ TâWolves: Another playoff rematch here! The Nuggets have been on a roll with Jokic on a 5 game triple-double streak! The TâWolves on the other hand have still been searching for their identity in this post-KAT era! They looked good last night getting a 133-104 win over Denver. Ant Edwards dropped a game-high 34 points, and Julius Randle dropped 21, 7, and 7 of his own. The Nugs fell short yesterday but both of these teams should be in the Final 4 left standing in the West!
Kings @ Knicks: A good old-fashioned POINTS FEST! The Knicks got the win in the Garden, 143-120! New Yorkâs starting 5 went nuclear: OG (33), Brunson (25), Bridges (27), Hart (20), KAT (18)! The Kings roster continues to look good on paper but against good teams, they canât seem to put it together. They are the 9-seed in the West right now and are trying to make a push before the all-star break!
Lakers @ Warriors: As long as LeBron and Steph are playing, this game will always be on TV. Always. It might even be on TV for the 6 years after they both retire too! The Lakers got the win, 118-108, and are now quietly the 5-seed in the West! The Warriors have fallen to the 11-seed. AD had a game-high 36 points and tacked on 13 rebounds as well! The Lakers will always be in the hunt as long as AD and LeBron are both healthy!
