What to know: The LA Rams are allowing Matthew Stafford to to talk to other teams this offseason, could we have just seen the end of Stafford in LA?
Itâs crazy to think that just 5 years ago, Stafford had still been a lifelong Lion, a QB plagued by the stat of 0 career playoff wins. Itâs safe to say the trade to LA helped cement his legacy as one of the best QBs of his generation. The generation between Brady and Manning, and then the young guns.
When he finally got a group of weapons around, we say what they did in their first year together: win a Super Bowl. It was interesting to see what Stafford does as it seems he has built himself quite a life in LA. Itâs hard to imagine the Rams to blow it all up, especially after being really the only team in the postseason to put up a reasonable fight against the Super Bowl Champion Eagles.
Stafford was driving in the snow in their divisional round matchup, and had it not been for snow, who knows what would have happened there? The duo of Nakua and Kupp is still a deadly one-two punch and as long as those three are there, they will always be dangerous. Weâll see what happens with Stafford as this will be an interesting storyline to follow.
